Online Leaf is a project started to help the Internet become greener, and through this plugin, it has been made easy for WordPress users to get a Green Website as well.
In this first version, Online Leaf presents a new standby engine for all WordPress blogs. Once installed, it will detect any user inactivity on the blog and cover the blog with a dark screen, which darkens the colors and hides animations and effects, so that the monitors do not waste energy displaying these untill activity is detected again, which happens when the mouse is moved across the website.
Along with the standby engine itself, this version also implements a admin interface for Online Leaf, which makes it possible to easily install energy saving engines from the Online Leaf project.
