Modern Wood is a Free Wordpress theme developed by WPExplorer.com (AJ Clarke). This theme features a beautiful dark layout with a wooden background and some amazing CSS3 features.

Modern wood uses the Wordpress 3.0 menu system and custom header. It comes with an optional advertisement spot, optional extended footer, optional sidebar social links, and tons of theme options.

One of the coolest theme options is the ability to change your thumbnail sizes and of course the nivo slider on the homepage.

2 things:

1. I create free themes that I give away so I add my link on the footer of these themes. I created them.

2. I do distribute other free GPL themes (this means I can change and distribute them if I want) and add my link on the footer. But I NEVER remove the original footer links. Plus, many of the free themes on my site have become more popular because I am promoting them. I am doing these people a favor by distributing their themes - I think I deserve something in exchange.
